In general the products we supply are shipped at cost. This, we believe, is the only fair way of sending the goods you have ordered to you. Many online companies, we feel, over-charge customers and actually make an unfair profit from you. And, additionally, we don't inflate the prices of products to include carriage costs just to be able to say 'carriage free'.
We have 2 classes of Shipping - weighed and palletised.
For example weighed items to mainland UK upto the Scottish borders our charges start at:
for the first 20-Kilos it is £6.50 - and for each Kilo, or part, above 20 it is 0.25p per Kilo up to 140-Kilos
For Deliveries to the Islands and Highlands the charges are higher but still at cost.
For Palletised items the charges start at £37.10 per pallet.
If you order mixed and palletised in the same order then the 2 costs are added together.
You will be advised of the carriage costs at the time of checkout and you can preview the costs by going to your basket and clicking on the checkout button, you don't have to complete the purchase to find out what the carriage costs are.
The Mainland UK excludes The Highlands, any Island including Northern Ireland and the ROI and, for example, Jersey, Channel Islands and the Isle of Wight are excluded.
Some items that are very large, very heavy or require specialist loading or unloading equipment, such as a HIAB, will be subject to a special delivery charge and are exempt from the free shipping offer, but this will be notified to you at time of ordering.
